I’m Finding

I’m finding that all my efforts are being put into the GKaplanphototgraphy blog and there are weeks that go by before I post here.
I’m considering moving all my efforts to – http://gkaplanphotography.com/
So for at least now, please check that site for posts that I have missed putting up here.
I will post again here if there are any permanent decisions made.

Southern Pines Fire Department Final Visit

My last visit to the SPFD was wonderful. A small group was available and we were not interrupted by an emergency. It was more play than work because we got to run around the fire house for an hour.

This is my third visit to the FD making pictures just to give to the men there. Each visit is more fun than the previous one. I’ll be going back one more time to shoot the final shift. These images are just for fun. More serious, but still fun images, are at gkaplanphotography.com

Matt put together a new band called “Walla”. To get their web stuff going we did a shoot one night at a practice session. The room was small, the music was loud, and it was great. Then to try to match the mood of the band we put a filter on the images. If you get a chance to see them, definitely go.
